The 5th Grade Invites You To Brentfield's

ANNUAL TALENT SHOW

What:

Annual Talent Show hosted by the 5th grade

 

Who:

All Brentfield Families are encouraged to attend Talent Show

 

When:

Friday, March 29th at 6:30 pm in Pearce Auditorium

*Dinner will be available for pre-purchase and served in Pearce Cafeteria at 5:30 pm (other food and concessions will be sold throughout the evening)

 

Why:

To showcase the talented students of Brentfield and have a Bobcat social event that’s family friendly. It is a tradition at Brentfield that the fifth grade hosts the Talent Show to raise funds for their last year at Brentfield.  During their 6th grade year, the funds will be used for graduation, memorabilia and fun field trips.

 

How:

Tickets for the show and dinner will be sold through the PTA Online Store beginning Friday, March 1st at 8 am through Friday, March 22nd. 

 

Along with the new location and one night only format, we are doing a few other things differently.  Here’s what you need to know!

Are there reserved seats?

Yes. We have three sections of reserved seating--one center section and two center side sections. The rest of the theatre is general admission and student seating.

Actual reserved seats will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis; however, we will seat families together which might result in a closer or further row .

 

How much are tickets?

Gold seating--lower center section-- $14/ticket. 100 seats available

 

Silver seating--side center lower sections-- $12/ticket. 200 seats available

 

General admission seating--general admission and student seating. $8/ticket

 

Who needs to buy a ticket?

Everyone with the exception of lap children!  (Even those participating in the show and 5th graders.)  Students that are in the show will sit in a section reserved for acts during whichever act they are in (Act One or Act Two).  They may sit in general seating or in their reserved seat, if purchased, for the act that they are not participating in.

 

Can I buy tickets the night of the event?

Yes, you can buy General Admission seating the night of the event at the Box Office.  Limited quantities may be available.

How long will the show last?

It is our goal to wrap the Talent Show up by 9:30 pm. 

 

How will I know which act my child is in?

We will email out which act your child is in by Monday, March 25th.

 

Can other family members attend the show?

Yes!  All family and friends are welcome.  Please note that ADA seating is limited.  Please contact brentfieldtalentshow@gmail.com by 3/22 if you or a family member needs accommodations. No strollers are allowed in Pearce Auditorium.

 

What’s for Dinner?

Slim Chickens will be catering the dinner which is only available for pre-purchase through the online store.  

$5 Small Tenders Meal (2 tenders, chips and a small water)

$5 GF Small Tenders Meal (2 grilled tenders, chips and a small water)

$8 Large Tenders Meal (5 tenders, chips and a small water)

$8 GF Large Tenders Meal (5 grilled tenders, chips and a small water)

$8 12" Grilled Chicken Wrap (Grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, Ranch dressing, chips and a small water)

 

Pizza and hot dogs, candy and cokes will be available for purchase at the concessions stand.

 

What else can I buy?

Paw Pack - This year’s must have item to fully enjoy the Talent Show!  The Paw Pack will be a limited edition Brentfield tote bag that includes snacks, water and spirit items.  The Paw Pack will cost $6 each and will have enough room to hold your other concession stand purchases!

 

Cat’s Cash - For convenience, you can pre-purchase tickets to use at the concession stand and photo booth.  This eliminates the need for cash on the night of the show. 

 

Fully Loaded Package: For $20 you can have it all!  A general admission ticket, a small tender meal, a Paw Pack, and $2 in “Cat’s Cash”. 

 

Raffle Tickets - Raffle tickets will be for sale for $1 during dinner and before the show.  We will announce the winner at Intermission.  The big reveal of the contents of the basket will be on Friday, March 22nd.

 

Sweet Tweets- Encourage your favorite Bobcat by “tweeting” a message of a 280 characters or less to be included in the Program.  (Think Shout Outs). Sweet Tweets will be $5 each and sold on the PTA online store.

Corporate Donations - If you have a business that you would like to promote to the entire Brentfield Community, we’ve got space for you in our program!  We offer full page ($50) or half page ($25) ads.  If you’d like to sponsor the Talent Show, reach out to brentfieldtalentshow@gmail.com by Friday, March 15th. If you’re interested in sponsoring a larger element of the Talent Show (for example, naming rights at a Concession Stand), contact us by email for more details. 

 

Where will concessions be available?

Before the show, during intermission and after the show, we will have concessions available upstairs and downstairs. Concessions will not be sold during the show. 

 

Can I get VIP Treatment?

Yes! You can bid on a chance to win parking spots along with other great items like Fastpasses and your company’s ad/family’s Sweet Tweet on the back cover of the program.  These auction items will be available on the online auction website. Details coming soon.
